📋 TL;DR — RepShed is free to use. Use your own legally obtained audio files. The tool is provided as-is with no warranties. We're not responsible for how you use it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RepShed ("the Service"), available at repshed.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RepShed is a free, browser-based music practice tool that allows you to:

Load audio files from your device
Loop selected sections of audio
Adjust playback speed without changing pitch
Use progressive speed training

All audio processing occurs locally in your web browser. No files are uploaded to or stored on any server.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

Audio file rights: You must have the legal right to use any audio files you load into RepShed. This includes music you own, have purchased, have licensed, or have otherwise obtained legal permission to use for personal practice.
Copyright compliance: RepShed is a practice tool, not a distribution platform. You must comply with all applicable copyright laws in your jurisdiction.
Lawful use: You agree to use RepShed only for lawful purposes.

4. Intellectual Property

The RepShed application — including its code, design, and content — is the property of RepShed and is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with that license.

The RepShed name and branding are trademarks of RepShed. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without permission.

5. No Warranty

RepShed is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy or reliability of results
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Compatibility with all browsers or devices

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RepShed and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or profits
Damage to your device or files
Any issues arising from the use or inability to use the Service

Since RepShed is free and processes nothing server-side, your maximum remedy is to stop using the Service.

7. Availability

We make no guarantees that RepShed will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

8. Third-Party Links

RepShed may contain links to third-party websites (such as Ko-fi for donations). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of RepShed after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RepShed shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
